Here is our first attempt ever at decorating a gingerbread choo choo train. It was hard to keep Matthew from eating the candy. He was screaming for candy. Dylan did a great job putting the candy on the train. He really did most of the work himself.Fun project for a very cold, snowy day!

Carson is 8 weeks old!He had his 2 month check-up this morning and was a trooper. 3 shots in the legs with super long needles. Poor baby. Over a week ago I took the boys to Kregel's pumpkin patch for their pre-school class outing. It was a distaster of a day. It took me 1.5 hours to get there because of the rain and horrendous traffic on 80/94, a trip that should have taken maybe 30-45 minutes. Anyway, because we were so late we weren't able to pick any pumpkins. We packed up the truck on Thursday night and headed to Indianapolis for a quick family getaway. It was a brutal week weather-wise in Chicago/NWI. We had double digit sub-zero temps all week making the commute to work for me exhausting and bitter. One morning it was -50F with the windchill.
