Christmas photos

We survived our first Christmas with 3 kids! OMG, it was so much fun and a beautiful thing with the boys. Not to get all gushy on you but I love my boys so much, they really made the day extra special.

It was great to see how excited Dylan was for Santa to come. We went to a really fun party on Christmas Eve at Joe's cousin's house and got home very late (about 11 pm). I asked Dylan if he wanted to help me put out Santa's cookies and reindeer food and no, he just wanted to go straight to sleep. That was a first!

Santa was up until 4 am putting toys together, Face Booking and getting everything under the tree. He was pooped on Christmas Day. But we charged on.

After a really nice morning of opening gifts and having a hearty breakfast, we went to Jori's house for Christmas with Joe's family. The kids had a blast playing with their cousins. We have one more Christmas party on December 30th at Joe's mom's house. And then Joe and I are hosting our second annual open house on New Year's Day for our neighbors and friends - because I'll use any excuse to drink lots of Champagne!

Lots of holiday fun! It will be sad when it is all over.

Christmas Eve at Cassi & Joe's house (Joe's cousins).

The hosts, Cassi and Joe. Boy, they can throw a fun party!

Me with Joe's cousins and sisters.

Kids playing lots of games.

Dylan kicking Grandpa's butt at Pac Man (yeah, right)

Grandpa has a moment with Carson.

Matthew tries on John Wayne's hat.

Grandpa giving horsey rides. He'll be hurting tomorrow!

Christmas Day photos

Dylan helped me make and decorate the cookies. I used Alton Brown's sugar cookie recipe and it was really easy and delicious. Maybe because there are 2 sticks of butter in the dough, yikes!
It was Dylan's idea to write the names on the stockings!

The reindeer got carrots and magic reindeer food that Dylan, Matthew and I mixed together.

Before.

Carson likes Purdue.
